Gamecube Console – An Older (But Still Good) Console From Nintendo

Today, the products from Nintendo are evidence of the company’s efforts to give a wonderful playing experience to kids as well as adults. That is the reason why many still love the Gamecube console from Nintendo.

The Nintendo GameCube console launched on November 18, 2001 in North America. It is a video game console that is regarded as one of the best one when compared with similar products that belong to the 'next generation' in game systems. This system has an appealing design that attracts players. Unlike some multi-purpose game consoles, it is exclusively for games, and games only.

Nintendo proudly claims that in this GameCube console, its R & D engineers have removed the past limitations that delayed processing. For this product, Nintendo has used some components that are designed by MoSys and IBM.

In addition, it also has a large-capacity secondary memory cache which is responsible for the movement of instructions through the MPU microprocessor of this system at high speed. It is introduced as an alternate for Sony's Playstation 2 and Microsoft's Xbox. Besides, this Nintendo console has the best game library, with hundreds of titles in almost all genres. Further, it has a cast of some exclusive characters with the best graphical options that you have ever seen in a console system. The cost of GameCube is also comparatively cheaper than other similar products.

Another well known addition to the Nintendo GameCube is the Mario Party 7, in which you can find many innovative features for multi-player gaming. It has a high capacity optical disk for four controller ports in order to provide the players with wonderful gaming experience, and a compact shape. This type of Nintendo GameCube console has many famous gaming characters, particularly its namesake, the game character Mario. Now a days, you can see that there are many kids addicted to Mario.

Further, some other popular gaming characters such as Zelda, Metroid, and Pokmon can easily be under your fingers’ commands through this Nintendo console series, allowing you to enjoy these games with a smooth video game experience. You can also make use of the facility that allows you to play online with unknown players competing with you. Or you can play with your colleagues who are working with you in your office (preferably not whilst you're actually in the office!). This is possible by connecting computer systems within your home using a LAN.

Thus GameCube console allows you do most of what you want in a game. You can also attach an optional wireless controller to your GameCube which will let you do away with annoying cords.

Of course Nintendo is known for its innovation and revolution in the gaming industry, having already released the GameCube's successor. Thus, the lifecycle of Nintendo Gamecube console is heading towards its decline stage, though it is still readily available new and with a huge library of games that support it. The successor of Gamecube is the Wii console and it is no wonder that it has attracted many video game lovers, with its innovative way of interacting with a video game, and its' use of motion sensors.

Of course, many still love the Gamecube console, and it still delivers a great gaming experience. It is significantly cheaper than the Wii, which, incidentally, is able to play all GameCube games. So, you can buy the Gamecube safe in the knowledge that you'll still be able to play all your favorite games if you decide to upgrade to a Wii later on.

The GameCube console now represents a terrific bargain.
